In collaboration with Thai Orchid, based in West Allis, WI, we present you the Certified Pho Eating Contest!

Will take place on

Saturday February 22nd, 2025 7pm.

Up to 12 contestants can enter. The higher the head count, the higher the cash prize! Winner advances to the FINALS!

CONTEST DETAILS

Noodles

As most of you know, pho is made with Rice Noodles. We strategically weighed out the amount that will be served in the Size Bowl that has been decided. Each bowl will have 1.5lbs (dry) of rice noodles.

Meat

To equally proportion the meat to the noodles, we tested that with .5lbs of beef and .5lbs of meatballs was perfect! That's a total of 1lbs of meat!

Broth and Veggies

If you ever had a bowl of pho, you know that you need the right amount of broth. Too little and it's no longer soup! Perfect broth weight for this blend is 3lbs! With an addition .5lbs from veggies (Green onion, white onion, cilantro)

The Contest

Bowl must be finished, including the broth! First to finish 6lbs of Pho will take home a trophy and

CASH PRIZE! If there is no completed bowls from all participants, each bowl will get weighed. Up to competitors to season their bowl, but it will add more weight! Fee to participate is $50.

Rules

As stated above, bowl must be finished including the broth. However, if all contestants give up and give up because they no longer love pho. Each bowl will get weighed for final weight and winner will be chosen with the lightest bowl. If a competitor(s) vomit, they are disqualified. Drink of your choice is allowed. Each bowl will be made fresh and hot out the kitchen Choice of your strategy is allowed after the competitor is given the prepped bowl. Winner will win cash prize, cash prize will be determined by head count. The more contestants, the higher the cash prize! Also, this is a tournament style eating contest meaning winner will advance to the finals and get a chance to WIN THE GRAND PRIZE!
